Known Issues
The following known issues are anticipated be released in the upcoming December 15, 2023:
- Adjustments to Sunday / Monday transition: Motionwoks processes Basecast on a weekly basis using UTC midnight as the cut. Given global timezones, this can lead to jagged results near the weekly cutoff.
- Long Distance Trip Scaling Enhancements: Long distance trips are have a disproportionate impact on person miles traveled in some counties particularly in Alaska.
- DMA Specific Issues:
- DMA Bakersfield (CA), Eureka (CA), and Palm Springs (CA) have population but no one stayed home on some days
- Chico-Redding, CA DMA has some days where 100% of the population went to work
