Version 2 includes a full daily history for each county and DMA in the United States from January 1, 2019 through November 30, 2024.

On December 9, 2024, Motionworks published an update to its Placecast™ by Date product. While the end-user schemas have not changed, the data pipeline process used to generate the cleared places was updated based on internal audits and customer feedback.
