On July 15, 2025, Motionworks published an updated Version 2 to its Basecast™ by Date product. Version 2 includes a full daily history for each county and DMA in the United States from January 1, 2019 through June 2025.

This is an incremental release of Version 2 containing daily travel patterns for May 2025.

Known Issues

At the beginning of 2025 several states enacted new digital privacy laws. This caused supplier disruptions in the five states -- Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, and New Jersey. These changes caused increased variability since January 2025 estimates for counties and DMAs in these states. Motionworks expects this variability to stabilize over the remainder of calendar year 2025 as digital providers adapt to new rules and regulations in these states.
