Placecast™, Publication Date 2023.03.10

On March 10, 2023, Motionworks published an update to its Placecast™ by Date product. While the end-user schemas have not changed, the data pipeline process used to generate the changes was updated based on internal audits and quality assurance processes.

The following areas were updated during this process:

Update seasonal methods and first-party data associated with medical offices. The change has a direct effect on unfocused medical offices and other similar locations in the region, but smaller impacts may be observed in other place types with significant numbers of unfocused locations like drug stores and retail outlets. (#284)
Implemented a 'cleared' list of places for which information is available. This list will be updated for each release with the count of cleared places by place type, new additions to the cleared list, and places removed from the cleared list from the prior release. (#198)

Changes by Place Type

With each new release of Placecast by Date, Motionworks reviews changes at each place type and reports whether the place had a material change in an hourly visit estimate. These changes are reported in the table below and visualized in this PDF.
