On April 15, 2025, Motionworks published an update to its Placecast™ by Date product. While the end-user schemas have not changed, the data pipeline process used to generate the cleared places was updated based on internal audits and customer feedback.

Version 2 includes a full daily history for each county and DMA in the United States from January 1, 2019 through February 28, 2025.
