A virtual person exists who is statistically representative of you and anyone else in the real population. You will not find an exact virtual copy of yourself within it, and because of this, it has the benefit of protecting individuals' privacy.

On 15, 2024, Motionworks published an updated Version 2 to its Basecast™ by Date product. Version 2 will eventually replace Version 1 as the default record of travel in the United States. Version 2 includes a full daily history for each county and DMA in the United States from January 1, 2019 through February 29, 2024.
