The insights are produced using the proprietary Motionworks Population Intelligence Platform. Basecast™ by Date is best used for understanding the variation in total trip counts and person-miles traveled through time.

Release Notes
- Extended Time Series Travel data is now available for each day from January 1, 2019 onward within each county or DMA.
- Additional Attributes New attributes related to commute and non-travel have been added to the product. These data provide information on the total number of people traveling to work, staying at home, and not traveling on a particular day.
Data Dimensions
- Frequency Published monthly.
- Geographic coverage Summarizes metrics for residents of the U.S.
- Zone systems U.S. Census counties and Designated Market Areas (DMA).
- Date availability Dates after 1 January 2019. For dates before January of 2019, reach out to our sales team for pricing.
- Latency Data are released 15 days after the close of the month. For example, by 15 January 2023 data for each day of December 2022 are released.
